Sparkheart's Kits

   It is crazy at WindClan. Rumor has it Sparkheart is having kits. She has been having nightmares and according to Barkface, it's a sign. After Sparkheart told Spottedeye she was having kits, He totally freaked out. He scurried to see Icefur and I and told us the news. We ran to see Sparkheart right after. "I tried to tell him lightly, to tell all of you. But I knew it was too late; I felt a little kick last night." said Sparkheart. Spottedeye bursted into tears afterwards. I was pretty sure they were tears of joy. "Oh my gosh, I'm going to be a father!" shouted Spottedeye. "When are you due?" asked Icefur after we all stared at Spottedeye for a minute. "In three moons" she replied. That's when Tallstar overheard us. "Sparkheart! It's official? Why! Congrats!" he said. "Oh, yeah. Felt a kick last night!" said Sparkheart shyly. That night, I slept in excitement. Then, this morning, ShadowClan attacked us! What cowards! We all had to protect Sunpetal's new kits (Sparkheart's mother)! I could see the look in Sparkheart's eyes. Fear. She didn't want this to happen with her and her kits. I fought off Cinderfur with Icefur and out of the corner of my eye, I saw Wetfoot clawing a defenseless Sparkheart, one week pregnant!
