My Horrible Dreams

  "Spottedeye! Come quick! Look at them!" said Sparkheart. "Oh my gosh!" I said, tearing up. Sparkheart have given birth to four healthy kits! Suddenly, Icefur came into the nursery and said "Spottedeye! Wake up! Wake up!" I awoke suddenly, realizing it was all a dream. Icefur was there in the Warrior den, trying to wake me up. "C'mon! You are on patrol!" Icefur hissed at me. I got up and walked out the den with her. After patrol duty, I went into the nursery to see Sparkheart. She was resting when I saw her in there. I pawed at her carefully to wake her up. "Hello sleepy head" I said as Sparkheart opened her eyes. She smiled when she saw me and said "They're getting so big already." I looked down at her belly and gave her a rabbit I caught for her. She beamed and ate it quickly. "Rainpaw and Mousepaw's Warrior ceremony is tonight" I told her. "Oh yeah! I'm so proud of them!" said Sparkheart, sounding like a mother rather than an older sister. I smiled at her and told her I'd escort her there. I ran out of the nursery, excited, just as I bumped into Tallstar. "Oh hello there Spottdeye! You're just the cat I wanted!" he said to me. "Follow me!" I followed Tallstar into his den. "Listen, We all know about Sparkheart." he said. "Yeah, Of course." I replied. "Well, When did you first find out about Sparkheart having kits?" Tallstar asked. Then, I told him about Sparkheart and I meeting at the gorge.   I wondered if he was worried about Sparkheart's dream becoming into a prophecy. Later that day, Rainpaw became Rainsilver and Mousepaw became Mouseclaw. I fell asleep that night and dozed off in a dream. "HACK!" coughed Hollykit. "AC-HOO!" sneezed Fernkit. The kits coughed loudly. "Are they alright?" asked Sparkheart. "No, Whitecough!" said Barkface, the medicine cat tom. I gasped. "My poor kits!" Orangekit coughed again. "I'm going to need some herbs" said Barkface. "Can you get some for me?" "Of course!" I said, running out of the camp. I came back with the herbs and gave them to Barkface. "Will they be alright?" Sparkheart asked again. "We'll have to see" said Barkface. The next morning, I came back to see my four kits all coughing. Sparkheart looked at me gravely. "It's greencough!" I awoke suddenly, gasping for a breath. Hawkfire and Icefur looked at me in the Warrior den. "What's up?" asked Hawkfire. "Where is Sparkheart!?!?" I asked.
