Hawkfire? Is She Alright?

          It's been a couple of days since Hawkfire talked secretly with Icefur and Flamestrike, but she hasn't told me or Spottedeye as of now. What is she hiding from us? Is it something that secret? I mean, I can understand not telling me, but you mentored Spottedeye for StarClan's sake! These past couple of days have been a blur anyway, and the pain has gotten worse. Spottedeye has been doing everything he can, but I feel like it's soon time. "Sparkheart?" a voice murmured. It sounded almost sickly. "Come in." I mewed. It turns out it was Hawkfire! "Is Spottedeye here? I wish to talk to the two of you together." Hawkfire asked. "Did someone call me?" Spottedeye meowed walking in, carrying a thrush. I nodded. "Hawkfire wanted to talk to us." Spottedeye dropped the thrush in front of me, and turned to Hawkfire. "Sure, what's up?" Spottedye asked.  Hawkfire sat down and let out a sigh. "I'm sorry I've been distant for a while, life just caught up to me, that's all." Hawkfire looked down. "Redsun, my long lost brother. I miss him so much." I nodded. I heard stories of Redsun from Icefur, plus he was alive when I was a small kit. "Have you guys ever wondered why I was distant of Flamestrike for a period of time?" Spottedeye and I both nodded. Hawkfire closed her eyes and continued. "Because he looks and acts so much like him." My eyes widened. What? I thought. Flamestrike and Redsun so alike? Is that even possible? For cats to be almost identical? Hawkfire also told us the story about Redsun's death, and why she feels so distant from us now. I just can't believe that me and Spottedeye expecting kits and Icefur and Flamestrikes' relationship can tear her apart, emotion by emotion, limb by limb. She then left and returned to her den. I looked at Spottedeye then the thrush he gave me. "I don't feel hungry anymore." I muttered.

Redsun...

Thursday,
  I started to cry. My brother and I were young warriors when he died. My brother was named Redsun. We were hunting for the Clan one day and it was a cold, winter day.  The forest was quiet, but we knew prey was lurking around the corner. Redsun caught a scent of rabbit near by RiverClan. We patted our way through the snow. "Ssshhh, Redsun. We are really close to RiverClan." I warned him. The Clan was desperate for food and we finally found a rabbit. It was near a RiverClan lake, sipping up water. "Careful Redsun. The stones near the lake are icy and the lake is nearly completely frozen." I said with caution. Redsun just looked at me and said "I'm doing it for the Clan, sis." His last words. Redsun cross the border and silently approached the rabbit that was on an icy stone. He caught the big rabbit a killed it. He tossed me the prey with his mouth. His last catch. Then, Redsun started to walk off the stone he was on and then, Crash! Redsun, my beloved brother, died. He had slipped on the ice landed on the frozen lake. The small lake didn't crack, the ice was so hard and thick. I started crying at once. "Redsun, Redsun, Redsun?!?!?!" I yowled. Then, at that moment, I realized he now hunts for StarClan. I carried Redsun across the WindClan border so he was not in RiverClan and had Icefur and Fernlight help me bring Redsun back to camp. I cried the whole way. All the cats came around to see what had happened. The whole time, I could not stop crying. Icefur, Flamestrike, Fernlight, and Onewhisker kept on trying to calm me down. That night, I sat vigil with him. I was so sad. Icefur and Flamestrike rubbed against me and kept telling me everything was going to be ok. "I feel so lonely now. Because you two are in a relationship and Sparkheart and Spottedeye are going to have kits. You all are my best friends and it is hard." I explained to Icefur and Flamestrike. "Listen Hawkfire. I'm sure Redsun is happy in StarClan and he misses you as much as we miss him. Live now and you'll find love." said Icefur. I started to cry. I'm so lonely.

What's Wrong?

Wednesday,
Icefur has been acting very strange lately. She keeps on making me hang out with her and Flamestrike. I'd love to hang out, but I think Icefur and Flamestrike should have some more time together. The thing is, She keeps on inviting me to everything. I keep on saying no, but it is because I'm not feeling well. Icefur came in the warrior den and asked me if I wanted to go to the gorge with her and Flamestrike and I passed. "Hawkfire, You've been acting very odd  lately. Is there something wrong?" Icefur asked. Just then, Flamestrike came in. "Hawkfire?" he said. "I haven't been feeling well." I replied. Just then, Icefur yowled "MY COUSIN IS SICK! BARKFACE! HELP! "  Barkface came in the warrior den just in time to see me. "Sick, you say?" asked Barkface. "Yeah, She said she isn't feeling well." said Flamestrike. "Here, Chew on these." said Barkface as he handed me some herbs. I was feeling a little bit sick, but there something else that is upsetting me. After Barkface left, I said "Icefur, Flamestrike, There's something else that is bothering me." "What is it?" asked Icefur. "The death of my brother." I sadly said. The room was silent.

Unusual Things...

Flamestrike and I are going real well. It just seems odd because Hawkfire acts a bit weird when I'm around him. The other day, I was going on the moonhigh hunting patrol with Flamestrike and Onewhisker, and I asked her if she wanted to go. She said no because she was tired, but she went to the fresh-kill pile anyway. I worried and I was about to tell Barkface that she might be sick, but our patrol had to leave. I'm sure though that she is going through some stages of me hanging out with Flamestrike. I'm giving her time... Anyway, Flamestrike asked me if I wanna go to the gorge and swim a bit. I told him I'd love to, but I told Tallstar had to see me in his den for something important. I muzzled him saying that I will tomorrow. He nodded and purred to let me know that he was okay with it. I walked into Tallstar's den. "Yes Icefur. I've been expecting you. Please tell me, is Sparkheart okay?" Tallstar asked. I purred, "She's fine. Barkface says she's due anytime soon!" Tallstar nodded. "Is Hawkfire okay?" I looked a bit to the side. "I can't truly answer that. She's acting a bit strange when I'm around Flamestrike." Tallstar licked his chest. "I've been seeing that. You got to make her feel welcome around Flamestrike." "But how do I do that? Hawkfire is making excuses." I mew. "We'll find a way Icefur, we'll find a way." Tallstar purred.

Sparkheart and I

Sunday,
  I woke up early this morning to go hunting. I caught three rabbits and a vole. I put my catch on the fresh kill pile and took a chaffinch for Sparkheart. I walked into the nursery and greeted Sparkheart. "Good morning! How's everything?" "Good. I haven't gotten any nightmares." Sparkheart said. I dropped the chaffinch at Sparkheart's paws. "For me?" she asked, happily taking a bite. I smiled and asked if she wanted to go the gorge. "Let's go," said Sparkheart. Sparkheart and I headed our way to the gorge. We sat down with our paws touching the water. "How many kits do you think we are going have?" I asked.  "I don't know, but I'd like two." said Sparkheart. I smiled and said "I'd want four, but who knows." Sparkheart smiled and I gave her lick. I stepped in the water and went under. The water was nice and cold. I came up for air and told Sparkheart to come in. The water was shallow and safe for her. We were underwater and everything felt alright. The world seems so peaceful and it seemed nothing was wrong, even though life is full of dreams and worries. Sparkheart and I came out the water and meowed "I love you." After awhile, Sparkheart and I came out of the water and dried. "Sparkheart, I know nothing wrong will happen to our kits." I said. "How can you promise that?" asked Sparkheart. "Because I have you." I replied. Sparkheart blushed. "I'm just so worried, even though I have you." I smiled. We talked on and on about names and what our kits would look like. I was so relaxed about everything. Sparkheart filled me with happiness, but I had to get back with Clan duties. I took Sparkheart back to the nursery and left to go on patrol. Later that day, I feed the elders and went to talk with Icefur and Hawkfire. Later, We all went to see Sparkheart. "Hi Sparkheart!" said Icefur cheerfully. "Hi Icefur, Hawkfire, Spottedeye!" said Sparkheart. We began talking more and more about the kits and then, Hawkfire and I went hunting as Icefur talked with Sparkheart. "I wish I could spend more time with Sparkheart." I told Hawkfire. "Well you were at the gorge with Sparkheart for most of the morning and you give her food every day." said Hawkfire. "Yeah, I just care for her so much." I mewed.  Hawkfire looked thoughtfully at the ground. After awhile, she said "Let's catch some rabbits!". And off we were. Together, Hawkfire and I caught five rabbits, two voles, and two chaffinches. After a long day, I finally went to rest in the warrior den. It was a great day and the day my kits are born will be the greatest day of all.

What's going on?

Tuesday,
  "Gotcha!" I said as I pounced on a rabbit. I scraped earth on my catch and sniffed the air. "Smell anything?" asked Icefur. I turned around to see Icefur and Flamestrike. We were all hunting on a nice, sunny day. I sniffed the air again and looked at Icefur and Flamestrike. "I smell ShadowClan!" I said. They both sniffed the air and we all darted in the direction of the scent. As we ran, Flamestrike stopped us in our tracks, and ran in a different direction. Icefur and I ran after him. There we saw Stumpytail  and Cinderfur. "What are you doing in our territory?!?" hissed Flamestrike. "What do you think you are doing, going around and breaking the warrior code?" said Icefur. We hissed for them to leave. "You have no business here in WindClan!" I snapped. The ShadowClan cats hissed at us. Then, we starting chasing Stumpytail and Cinderfur out of our territory. We chased them to Fourtrees. Stumpytail ran along back towards ShadowClan and as Cinderfur followed him, he shouted "We'll be back! And soon!" And off the ShadowClan warriors went. Icefur, Flamestrike, and I ran back to camp. The three of us went to talk to Tallstar. We found him near the fresh kill, reminding me of the rabbit I caught. "Tallstar! We found ShadowClan in our territory." said Icefur. "Where?" asked Tallstar. "Heading towards Fourtrees." said Flamestrike. "Where are they now?" Tallstar asked. "We chased them out of WindClan and Cinderfur said they would be back soon."  I replied. "How many cats were there?" Tallstar said. "Two, Cinderfur and Stumpytail." meowed Flamestrike. "Thank you for the information, now. We'll need to double patrols now," said Tallstar. "We don't need anymore chaos now."  We all worriedly smiled. Then, we went back to collect our prey and got ready for the next patrol. What were the ShadowClan cats doing in our territory? And what are they coming back for?

Trouble Arises

Tuesday,

"Spottedeye! Come quick!" I yowl. "Sparkheart! They're beautiful!" Spottedeye cries. Two adorable kits lay next to my side. "This one is a boy, and that's a girl." I point with my tail. Spottedeye cries even more. Then two ShadowClan warriors barge in! They take the kits and run out! "NOOO!!!!!" I yell. I wake up panting real hard. I realize I'm just in the nursery. "Oh StarClan..." I breathe. I collapse onto my side. Spottedeye comes in with a chaffinch. "Hey, I came back from the super early hunting patrol." He muffles through feathers. He drops it next to me. "I'm still a bit tired." He yawns. "So how are the kits?" He asks. "Uh... They're fine." I mew. I play with the chaffinch. Spottedeye stiffens. "Please don't tell me something happened!" "No! Not that! I had another dream," I began. He starts to open mouth. "And it's not a 2% dream! ShadowClan takes my kits!" I mew. Spottedeye puts his head down. He moans. "I feel sick..." I start to worry. What will happen?

On the other side of the Nursery,

Two cats snicker and nod. They run back in the opposite direction of WindClan camp.
